The movement is real, but it’s been magnified since 2015 because it was led by a man who comes onto the national political scene only once every hundred years or so. He’s larger than life, and wealthy and eccentric enough that he doesn’t care what people think of him. And he was willing to put everything on the line for his country.
MAGA, if Trump wins or loses, will be like the Tea Party. A general movement that’ll die off in time.
Something else will take its place, that’s how it is.
Maybe it won't be called "MAGA" but the underlying political philosophy will live on.
