They’re just chomping at the bit to go at Russia and cause WWIII.
Macron can send as many troops and as much money as he likes. It isn’t under the NATO banner.
It’s no wonder Macron is about as unpopular as Biden.
Side note: Perhaps Biden’s handlers and Putin should read it, too. Because as I see it, there are no sensible people on either side of the Russia/Ukraine conflict.

Macron has the luxury of having a foreign legion at his disposal. He can send soldiers into a meat grinder and not be accountable at home for the loss of (too many) French lives. (see “Dien Bien Phu”)
France is free to make war wherever it wants. Its NATO allies are NOT bound to defend it from the consequences of such warfare. NATO is a defensive alliance
Perhaps Macron agrees with the thinking of another guy who decided to tangle with Russia.

Ugh, but you might be right. France sends in “advisors”. Then in response, a Russian missile hits a supply depot in Poland. Lots of damage. Many people killed. And Poland is a NATO member. Then it’s on like Donkey Kong.
But of course it wasn’t a Russian missile. It was a missile fired by those fine folks at the CIA.
If they send in French troops in July the Russians will send most of them home by September. I don’t think the French soldiers want to die for Ukraine. I can’t say that I blame them. What did that French general call his troops? I think he called them cheerleaders. I don’t think Russia has much to worry about when it comes to the French.
Poor Macron, he thinks he will intimidate Russia by sending Frogs to Ukraine.
Russia will just send the Frog Legs back without comment.
