As a point of order, oftentimes this IS the issue, they bring it up. They “wear” their sex or religion or ethnicity as a shield, and claim they cannot be criticized because of it.
Remember all the apologists for Mrs. Clinton “you don’t like her because she’s a woman”. Obama, same thing only because he’s black, sort of.
Leftists are pros at this. They even trot little kids out publicly to spout comlete lies and BS, and then claim they are “off limits” for criticism because they are children.
These tactics are also poison. It’s almost like we should treat people as individuals, without regard to national origin or ethnicity or sex. You know, equality under the law.
