As Europe Deindustrializes: Is it Undergoing Economic Suicide

In an illuminating piece by Tilak Doshi on Forbes, the economic trajectory of Europe under the weight of its environmental policies is critically analyzed. Doshi paints a stark picture of what he describes as a self-inflicted wound to Europe’s industrial base, driven by stringent regulations and a shift away from reliable energy sources.

“Voltaire famously said that ‘common sense is not so common.’ Nowhere is this adage more relevant than in the field of energy policies in the European Union. These policies are most vigorously pursued in Germany—Europe’s industrial powerhouse—since it adopted the Energiewende legislation in 2010. The ‘green’ regulations and mandates adopted are simultaneously hostile to fossil fuels and nuclear energy. Energiewende (German for ‘energy turnaround’) refers to the ongoing energy transition to an imagined future of low carbon, environmentally sound, reliable, and affordable energy supply”.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/tilakdoshi/2024/05/09/as-europe-deindustrializes-can-economic-suicide-be-avoided/?sh=2c2c6f663dfa Doshi’s analysis starts with Germany, the hub of Europe’s industrial might, which has seen a significant decline in its industrial production since 2017. This decline is attributed to the Energiewende, a policy initiative aimed at transitioning to renewable energy sources but which has resulted in high energy costs and reduced competitiveness in the global market….

… This reflection on Europe’s industrial and economic decline under the weight of green policies serves as a cautionary tale about the unintended consequences of well-meaning but poorly implemented government policies. The rigorous enforcement of these policies, without adequate consideration for economic realities and the basic energy needs of a developed economy, may well lead to what Doshi refers to as economic suicide. His article urges a balance—a recalibration of environmental goals with the practical needs of economic stability and growth, reflecting a sentiment that perhaps, the pendulum of environmental policy has swung too far.

I highly recommend this article. My personal opinion is that all the damage being done to Western Europe BY ITS LEADERS must be INTENTIONAL! How could these coordinated and obviously destructive actions not be intentional in their effect.

Combine this with millions of Muslim invaders, what could possibly go wrong?

The West does seem to be self-destructing.

In the US, with the right president, we could re-shore our industries and exploit our natural resources, and really leap ahead of the rest of the world. It might almost seem like the 1946 - 1973 era all over again. But this time, let’s skip the Marshall Plan.

The Luddites won. But they’ll just be overwhelmed by the Muslims, their victory will be swiftly pyrrhic.

“ He cites other commentators who suggest a rethinking of energy policies could be on the horizon in Europe, influenced perhaps by economic necessity rather than environmental idealism.”

Will never happen. If they are anything like the American fascist left, they would rather die first. Suicide is in their basic nature.

The European nations’ elites are just preparing their countries for the Islamic invaders to feel comfortable there.
Same is in process in USA and Canada.

Europe is a few years ahead of us in it’s self-destruction. We can see what’s coming down the pike for us if we don’t stop our current trajectory. I think this next election is the determinative fork in the road.

It’s the Kalergi plan for Europe. Those who are following the plan want Europeans dead and mixed, so they lose intelligence.

Never underestimate the depth of human stupidity. The mass of the Universe may be finite, but the possibility of human stupidity is infinite.

There have been many times where groups of people have done seriously stupid things, because their leaders were deluded.

This is one of those times.

Of course, there is plenty of human greed and lust for power thrown in.

The leftists everywhere are self-loathing. Hopefully they are strong enough to destroy themselves. They represent the worst of humanity.

Deindustrializing has to be one of the most ignorant endeavors ever. We go from primitive living where life is incredibly hard and wears the body out at young ages, to a life where things have become much much easier, life is great, many things are created to enhance our enjoyment
Of life, and some whiny Karen comes along and decides that people are enjoying themselves too much, so they invent an asinine hypothesis about co2 causing global warming, and nations around the world leap off the cliffs like good little socialist lemmings, and demand that everyone fol.o them as they plummet into self imposed primitive living again.

The only question left becomes; has the world become too mentally stunted to survive?

Liberals lack perspective. When their viewpoint is that Europeans are bad, because of its recent history, they don’t ask whether it’s more bad than other ethnicities or less bad.

Europeans are far more angelic than just about anybody else in their history.

They might be self loathing, but they sure do loathe anyone who isn’t a liberal lemming.

It IS intentional. I don’t know why they are deliberately committing national suicide.

The same is happening here. Biden is destroying the economy thru his energy policies. The EPA is the main culprit. But state legislatures are at fault as well with mandatory regulations on the percentages of power generation that must come from renewables. This has reduced the reliability of the grid and increased the costs of electricity by 30%.

The Georgia Guidestones told you why, when it said making the population more fit. It did not say make the population better. In context, being more fit can mean more appropriate for their function. In other words, 85-95 IQ as an average.

The globalists are probably being offered the world if they eliminate any possibility of opposition to that control and Europeans, because of their experience in war, are the only people who could stop the globalists.

Yes, the infamous guidestones. It appears the powers that be, aren’t making much of an effort to find the the guy who blew the guidestones up.
