Wildwood = Cape May County a deep red part of the state. I live in NJ and the best Trump can do here is to lose by 6 points.

"the best Trump can do here is to lose"

No, that's a loser's mentality. We were also told in 2016 no Republican can win in Pennsylvania - "that's just the way it is, folks" so don't even try. My favorite radio host said that. Well, he was wrong and Trump won PA. Whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achive. You got to get your mind right. Then things start becoming possible again. Like in NJ.

And by the way Trump won Cape May County by 16 points in 2020.

Donald Trump’s Wildwood rally ushers in an economic boom to the boardwalk

WILDWOOD, NJ (CBS) - Despite all the people wearing jackets and sweatshirts, the crowded boardwalk in Wildwood looked more like a Saturday in the Summer.

“Memorial weekend came early I would say, so we love it. It’s wonderful,” said Isabel Betancourt, who attended the rally.

“I almost couldn’t get here because the traffic was so thick walking from North Wildwood to here,” Denise Keegan, from National Park, N.J., said.

The mayor of Wildwood said he will have an official number in a few days but expects the economic impact to be well into the millions...

People who didn't have tickets to the rally tried to sneak a peak of Donald Trump through fences set up on the boardwalk.

Crowds also piled into Capt'n Jack's. The bar and restaurant's beachfront balcony overlooks the stage where Trump was speaking.

"This is like Fourth of July, Labor Day weekend, and Memorial Day weekend all packed into one," said owner Sean Dougherty.

According to Dougherty, a normal Saturday in May is usually slow, and he closes early, but the influx of people was a welcomed boom to his bottom line.

"This is such a boost to start paying bills, paying my Cisco bill, my food my liquor bills. This was a big big help," Dougherty said.

《》《》
But the last Republican in 2021 barely lost the governorship and there are more people open to Trump now. NJ can be flipped.
《》《》
Has to be watched closely

I think last time it was so close that the Republican most likely got more votes, but the dems snached some of them and slid them in the dems stack...they are good at stuff like that...

I think it’s doable, governor AND Trump!

You are repeating what I said - Cape May County is a deep red county. Trump will need to swing enough people in Bergen, Union, Middlesex (heavily Asian), and Camden Counties in order to win. GOP hasn’t won any of those counties since 1988 (ditto Burlington which has less people).

The next one should be in the heart of DEM controlled Jersey City NJ at Liberty State Park!

Now is the time to reach these inner city voters, and so many of them would be so proud if he rallied in their city. Only DJT would have the guts to do it, and I hope he will!

In 2008 I tried so hard to get a permit to arrange a Tea Party rally there at Liberty. . . The Dem machine wouldn’t give us the time of day. It was the wrong time. But now, it’s the right time with DJT. Hope it can happen.
