Here’s the rub. Hamas can have a cease fire, but the war won’t be over. Hamas knows they will be eliminated. They crossed the line on Oct 7. There is no coexistence with such savage barbarians. The Palestinian people will have to come to terms with their choice in leaders and make better choices when they next get the chance. Which may be a while because I doubt Israel is going to give up occupation of Gaza until they kill or arrest nearly all the Hamas and clear the entire strip of tunnels, bunkers and weapons.
Their goal always was to isolate Israel from the World and the US. They knew they couldn’t beat Israel militarily, so the spent billions propogandizing the whole world.
