These prosecutions were not designed to actually convict Trump - even Jack Smith and the DOJ’s ridiculous documents case.
They were designed as a psyop and media-propaganda campaign focusing on influencing the 2024 election
Well, so far the prosecutions ARE working.
In Trump’s favor!
They’ll “convict” Trump then it will go to appeal which won’t be adjudicated until 2030. But the damage to Trump they sought will be enough. They will trumpet “Convicted felon Trump” a thousand times a day.
And to financially damage him.
Can you imagine the legal expenses his racking up fighting these ridiculous court cases.
Not to mention the physical demands and impediment to campaigning.
