There are a lot of unanswered questions. We know that the BATF is a"cowboy" outfit that for some perverse reason really likes these high-profile shoot-outs. Perhaps its because they figure Congress will give them more money if they demonstrate how much they are needed to weed out all these "gun-loving miscreants". The best one can say about this little event is that its fortunate that some of the neighbors were not killed in the cross-fire. It also serves as an example of really poor police work.
