So since when does this constitute "amassing weapons"? There are a heck of a lot of unanswered questuions about this little raid; it would appear that the whole thing was bungled much in the same way that Waco was.

The more fundamental question is why is "amassing weapons" considered a crime?

They were searching for a single weapon to effect an arrest of a convicted felon with firearms.

Considering that this gentleman is a convicted felon, and was thus barred from owning firearms at all, yes, it is "amassing weapons." Next silly uestion, please.

Just what is the purpose of a search warrant if its not to search ? Are search warrants invalid if there was nothing there ?
