I agree. Matt did a lot of good. I wish him the best. But as an internet creation himself, he should know better than anyone how demanding this medium is. Better play straight, a name or one's history is not enough. Start shucking and jiving or turning on those who support you and, as Rush says, you are Histwaaaah!~

She's another one who was beautiful in youth and you wouldn't necessarily know it from how she looks today. Both she and Brando have been on the chunky side in my lifetime, but pix and old movies show it wasn't always that way.

Guess that wasn't Drudge ... Jim pulled the post. I was a little surprised that he'd have time to post. I know he reads the thread sometimes on commercial breaks because he has referred to it. Anyway, most people like that are vain enough to want to see what folks are saying about them.

As post #72 pointed out Matt was reg. as of 8/9/01, I hit up his profile too when he responded. It was the same format I had seen in the past. Now no current freeper by that name. He seems to pop in and out. I knew I should have printed that exchange before I refreshed, of course Matt's post was pulled. I will hazard a guess that despite any problem Matt may have with FR, JimRob keeps his screenname reseved for him.

Reading your comment much later, but just have to tell you I laughed so hard over the khaki remark!

I was there and when I read about it I remembered I had on Khaki Slacks, Silk blouse, Blue blazer and even Bass Weejun tassel loafers. Typical preppy wear, but I am a retiree, not their description of a paid DC employee!!

As usual the press got it all wrong!
