Liberal "circular logic" in all its glory. The one argument that shows how ridiculous it is is the one where gun banners hold the military, the feebs and the local cops can carry but letting the hoi polloi do so will bring out their native easily provocable bloodthirstiness. What is never explained is when the government goes on a rampage is why the gun banners don't believe guns should be confiscated from such a homicidal monster. Hypocrites.

Bump bumpity bump bump...
Copied, pasted, saved to hard drive! Priceless!
#41. Background checks, fingerprinting, and waiting periods are good. These give whoever is stalking you ample time to buy a gun out of the trunk of a car.

Good idea, everybody feel free to add to the list. All improvements appreciated.

9. When confronted by violent criminals, you should "put up no defense - give them what they want, or run" (Handgun Control Inc. Chairman Pete Shields, Guns Don't Die - People Do, 1981, p. 125).I saw a news report two days ago on FR about a convenience store clerk in Salt Lake City who fully complied with an armed robber's demand for money and was then promptly shot to death anyway.

[someone doesn't resist, then gets shot anyway]
This happens all the time. Why are you so surprised? Ask any large city's police department about murders that occurred in public in the last year and you'll probably find a few "robberies/rapes gone bad".

So no gun control, and encouraging possesion (and use) of guns is a good thing to do?
