I am not convinced that this will have any effect on the American people. Before long the pundits will be blaming this on us and we will be eating it up and atoning for our sins whatever they may or may not be. We have truly evolved into a strange nation. Hope I am wrong. A truly prescient post bump on this awful anniversary. You were right, sadly, for about 40 - 45% of the population.
