He reported that Wal-Mart had been ordered to stop selling guns but he got what he needed.

Ordered by whom? Govt or Corp Headquarters? And was this just for the day, or permanent?

The reported reasoning was that they didn't want to be responsible for a wave of armed attacks on Arab-Americans. After 8 years of Clinton race baiting, it could easily have gone that way yesterday. Thank G*D we're a stronger country than that.

I also wondered. My husband didn't have further details. I have a hard time seeing President Bush trying to suspend the 2nd amendment when we've just been attacked. I'd suspect it's a corporate decision.
