Actually, it sounds like both France & Germany's support is typical socialist garbage.

I think French and German support is tenuous. I think we can count on their support for intelligence and law enforcemnt efforts, but I do not want them on the battlefield with us. There were reports that French army officers gave information to the serbs during the balkans crisis that may have resulted in the downing of the stealth bomber. Germany's interests are linked to France's. Germany's and France's government have anti-American elements. Joska Fischer and perhaps Schroeder himself have had radical leftist pasts. I think they will back out if things get too nasty. I know the majority of German people back us up and they feel really bad about what has happened, but they can stay home. The only countries I want in battle is the UK and Australia.
