I hope this is a isolated incident. I was proud for my generation this weekend as most of the rallies in my town were led by young teenagers.

My two teens, (16 & 17), shed many tears this past week. They have watched numerous hours of cable news and fortunately, do not have liberal history teachers so this was actually discussed in school with some intelligence. To tell you the truth I was surprised. Minnesota is not known as an anti-liberal hot bed. I have been very proud of them. They have both expressed sadness over the probability of war, however believe that this type of terrorist doesn't go away by ignoring him. He must be dealt with and disposed of.

I'd be willing to bet a lot of these "students" aren't citizens, but foreign exchange students. The left have to make their cause larger than it really is. Of course, at that age most kids can't see past the hormone fog.

I know students at our elementary school have brought food, blankets, etc for the relief effort. They are having a patriotic sing-along this week(parents invited). Our principal sent home a memo because the kids were discussing the "greatest attack since Pearl Harbour". Red, White, and Blue day was on Friday. We also have an assembly for veterans on Veteran's Day, every year. So don't let the spin get to you. Most of them know what's at stake, ;)

This is what happens when you have granola munching, Birkenstocked, '60's draft dodgers (who earned the PhDs and teaching certificates using their deferrment status) running the Northern California government school system. What else would you expect? These kids are a product of their upbringing.

BTW: Isn't the Oakland, California school system where "Ebonics" originated?</font size>

I hope this is a isolated incident.

Unfortunately, this is the same area where the school-children who were taken on a field trip to see the Spielberg movie Shindler's List starting cheering as the Nazi's were slaughtering the Jews. The teachers were horrified, and they quickly followed up with some more education. Spielberg even came out to talk to the kids during an assembly.

Really, I just hate how the media never has anything good to say about teens...as if one high school is represenative of a whole nation of teenage kids. I am still a teenager, although soon not to be, and am very patriotic and also a conservative Republican. People just need to open their eyes, there are more like me out there, lots more.

I knew the media would start this, with articles just like this, to suggest the younger folks don't have the will to fight. It's to weaken national morale, nothing more.

I was on a college campus today, and what a heartwarming sight -- the cars were loaded with American flags and homemade signs saying God Bless America.

These teenagers are absolutely NOT representative of the ones I know here in Texas. Our kids are horrified and angry and recognize that this evil must be stopped. One young lady summarized it for me: "America is cool. And those people that hate us? They're GOING DOWN." Works for me.

Don't you worry, it is isolated. In my town, right smack dab in the middle of Wisconsin, probably one of the safest places from terrorism, just because theres not much here, the attacks of last week dominated conversation on our bus rides home from school. We've moved on somewhat, but we do realize the impact these events will have.

As I was driving through the center of our town last night there was a group of bikers at the edge of the road waving flags and motorists were honking away! And tonight when I went by, it was a group of high school kids! It was great they were holding flags and candles. Tomorrow night, our town is having a candlelight service at the Town Hall. Our youngest son's Scout Troop will be taking part in it.

I got an e-mail today urging folks to put a candle in a window (like the ones we use at Christmas) to show that God's light cannot be extinguished by hatred and terrorism. I'm going to go ahead and put them in all the windows as if it were Christmas! Let our little lights shine!!
