I clipped this out of the Sunday Parade magazine shortly after 9/11/01; it has been on my refrigerator door ever since.

It is a prayer written by Mychal F. Judge, the Franciscan Friar who was the NY Fire Department chaplain. He was killed by falling debris from the Towers as he was trying to minister to firefighters during the attack. He carried this prayer in his pocket:

Lord, take me where You want me to go;
Let me meet who You want me to meet;
Tell me what You want me to say, and
Keep me out of Your way.
