As a sign of the changing times, the Looney Libs are at it already. So much for One Nation Under God, and unity of purpose.
Did anyone else catch that dried up, Looney Lib, has been Phil Donahue on O'Reilly Factor tonight? He tried to monopolize the time so that O'Reilly had no response time. But O'Reilly gave him enough rope to hang himself.

I think he has gone OVER the edge...what a pathetic, has-been, self important blowhard. He and clinton make a good pair.

Don't make too much fun of Alda. Over the last ten years, he has been in some great roles, as heavies. His bleeding heart days, at least on film, ended years ago.

Mrs. Balding_Eagle and I, without saying a word to each other, got up and walked out of the room. Great minds think alike, I guess!
First time we've ever 'walked out' on O'Rielly. Phil was repulsive beyond words. Obviously has chosen to be on the side of the terrorists.

I just finished watching it. I think Bill did the right thing, letting Donahue hang himself. No comment was necessary. Bill comes off as the nice guy and Phil comes off as a blithering idiot. Works for me...

phil is just a side show. I saw him and he was ridiculous. Phil did compliment Bush, though, and he admitted that he thought Bush was a really good person....I thought that was interesting coming from such a treehugging liberal!

Donahue has the distinction of being a charter member of a small group of wide-eyed idiots.A wide-eyed idiot is one who,if you look in their eyes, you immediately recognize that there is nothing upstairs. They need not even speak....you just know. Other examples, Margaret Carlson,Barbara Boxer.

It worked with DeGaulle.

Sorry. It's going to take more than a few roles as 'heavies' for me to forgive the glorification of infidelity in Same Time Next Year.

Fair enough. Point acknowledged. Just wish bill had interrupted him like he did the woman who defended falwell's stupidity.

That was truly an awful film. The last two years of MASH were also pretty unwatchable.
Having said that, the film (can't remember the name) with Alda as the psychotic killer shrink almost achieves that goal. The beauty of it is that it turns the Alda stereotype in on itself, On the surface the shrink is the caring, concerned, and bleeding heart. He was also a good bad guy roles in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and Canadian Bacon (and underrated film).

Crimes and Misdemeanors?
To: PackerBoy
Yes, saw the 'Man w/the Startled Fawn Eyes." :) He acted as though the Factor was his own show, kept O'Reilly at bay by constantly saying, 'Don't interrupt me! You can say something when I'm finished...' He was extremely rude, reminded us of someone who's been out of the limelite waaaaayyyy toooooo loooonnnnngggg & just couldn't let go of the mike. As pathetic as BJ Clinton.
To: vikingchick
I don't know but it could be. He plays a "sensitive" shrink who gets obsessed with a patient and then goes on the rampage.

It was "Whispers in the Dark". It was a weird one.
To: workerbee
Thanks. I think I'll rent it again.
To: PackerBoy
Yep, Phil's a nut.
To: boston_liberty
No - I didn't know that! Thanks for enlightening me, chump.

Boston Liberty - another postattack newbie.....you and MoFo need some digital exams; perhaps you'll get that midnite knock at the door by the feds....hope so.
