This will present significant challenges to CNN as its reporters struggle to find a politically correct way to report these skirmishes and deaths. What do you call the dead men? "Terrorists" won't do. Certainly they can't be called "criminals" either. After all, they haven't beeen tried and convicted in a court of law yet.

I notice one of the posters on this thread who seems to think otherwise has been a member since last year and yet when I click on find in forum, the only posts I see are on this thread. All I see on this poster's thread is member since with no statments or flags or anyhting else. This seems to be quite typical of all the Demorats who think they're the majority of this country when in reality it's the conservatives who are the majority makers.

Agree with everything but this. Foreign aid does not buy friends. Usually it buys enemies, because we have given foreign aid to countries and let the corrupt government officials and polititicans in those countries take it and use it for personal gain.
We can reduce the environmental factors that allow these terrorist networks to exist by taking out the politicians and career government workers who aid terrorists in the countries that support terrorism, while leaving untouched the bureaucrats and politicians who do not support terrorism. We shouldn't be in the business of overthrowing governments, but we should be in the business of killing anyone who aids and abets attacks on our country in any fashion.
If Bush does this, and it would be a huge change in our strategy, we can kill these networks off. They have to have state support to grow this strong.
After that, it's up to them. But eliminating the same people who help terrorists attack us, will probably help the people in those countries at least have a shot at cleaning up their government.
