DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- A man believed to be one of the hijackers in the terrorist attacks visited a drug store in late August for medication to treat a burning sensation in his hands, a pharmacist says. Gregg Chatterton, co-owner of Huber Discount Drugs, said Friday the man he identified as Mohamed Atta was evasive about the cause and the pharmacist asked if he'd been exposed to cleaning fluids or gardening chemicals.

There was an allergist in Daytona who received one of those white-powder mailers today. I wonder if he was a disgruntled patient of his.

What if this pharmacist had used his head and been suspicious? These terrorists were setting off red flags everywhere, yet nobody did anything about it. Why didn't they just put on Tshirts that said "TERRORIST" on them?

Look, Atta's hands were "red, abnormally red." Remember, he didn't want anyone touching his genitals without gloves, as per instructions in his will.
Repeated self-abuse caused his "red, abnormally red" hands!
As for his friend with the chest irritant, perhaps he swallowed too frequently.

Why are we not seeing pictures of the packaging or handwriting in the media?

The picture is clear. Atta got Antrax from Iraqies and planted it. When will they connect the dots and stop feeding the public 'isolated incident' BS?

Needed run searches of all library computers to see what foreign sites were accessed! Connect the dots!

The guys responsible for preparing the envelopes are probably dead. They left them with others to be mailed when we retaliate. The media was targeted to make sure that chaos would occur. I heard someone say, that to do this safely you would have to have a large expensive laboratory. They didn't say that about 20 guys that know they will be dead by the time they would become ill, could do it on the heap. That's my sleuthing for the day.

I was going to say that the mail must be very slow since Atta has been dead since Sept 11.
With your theory there must still be some one in the cell still around in Florida since (I think ) these envelopes would have been mailed at different times and some rather recently, like the one that just showed up in Reno!

I tend to agree with that, however, if I were the Iraqi's, I wouldn't have let these guys have one of our strains, as the UN bio-chem teams, no doubt have the dna on file of the Iraqi strains. It would be much better to send an Iraqi science team over here and, either culture some native spores from the local fauna, or steal a native batch of research anthrax. This is clearly state-backed terrorism. If we don't respond to this appropriately (Nukes would be a good start) we can expect other states, with an axe to grind, to do the same thing to us, whenever they become unhappy with our policies.....my 2 cents

I wouldn't overestimate the sophistication of these scumbags. They probably used the first strain they could get

There could be a little cottage industry stuffing envelopes, if your next gig is a suicide bombing. Why are the media the target? It's obviously not to kill people. So there has to be another reason.
I think it is to make sure there would be publicity and as a distraction for whatever else they are trying to pull off in the next few days. If my lame theory is correct they could make a connection between the DNA of the hijackers and DNA on the envelopes, Saddam is toast.

When I first read the title I wasn't sure what to think: "suspected" hijacker? This is like cnn's "alleged hijackers." Amazing.

Oh GEEEEEEESH, This kind of thing happens a hundred times a day all over the world. Lots of people have sensitive skin. Certainly not a reason to call the FBI.
To: World'sGoneInsane
Those things happen to your chest and skin when you try to mate with farm animals. I read that's just a part of the Taliban culture!
