They Call It Funeralgate

An attempt by left wing assassins like the ever fallacious Bob Fertik at democrats.com-mies to make Bush look like Clinton and intimidate him.

Who is making the claims?

Eliza May, a 45-year-old Austin Democrat.

Why is she making the claims?

Texas Attorney General John Cornyn said "sought purely for purposes of harassment."

May began the investigation into SCI because she was trying to run for governor à la Ann Richards. May had used her position at the TFSC for political purposes and that she thought she'd take on the biggest funeral giant in the world and put it on her wampum belt and become the Jessica Mitford of the funeral business.

May has been active in Democratic politics on the city and state level for more than a decade.

-From 1994 to 1996 she served on the state Democratic Executive Committee.

-From 1996 to 1998 she was the treasurer for the Texas Democratic Party.

-She has also served on the finance committee for the Travis County Democratic Party.

-She was active in the South Austin Mexican-American Democrats.

-She was active the Hispanic Women's Network.

-She was active the Austin Women's Political Caucus and served as a volunteer on several city and county boards and commissions. In 1996, she even considered running for Austin's City Council.

Why was she fired?

Newsweek’s Michael Isikoff said that May was fired in February, "after another [funeral] commission employee complained that she ordered him to research SCI campaign contributions to state officials.

Have democrats received contributions from SCI?

Absolutely. SCI has given money to several state legislators including Sen. John Whitmire(D), whose district includes Waltrip's first funeral home.

Conclusion-

It is a publicity stunt and an example of the frivolous misuse of the civil justice system.

Hypocrisy-

It is amazing to see these people, which pooh-poohed the Clintons’ manipulation of Arkansas savings-and-loan regulators in 1992, devote time to this story.

May has solid Democrat resume and yes, all the liberal press members and the democrats.commies (which, by the way, is FULLY OWNED AND OPERATED by Democrat party bigwigs including DNC insiders, Gore's campaign officials, and Clinton whitehouse media office directors) have fully ignored them.

Eliza May was indeed fired for using her office to dig around in the campaign finance reports of other state officials. And, she was doing so to none other than Governor Bush at the SAME TIME she was serving her capacity as the STATE TREASURER (AKA THE MONEY LADY) FOR THE DEMOCRAT PARTY OF TEXAS.

If I remember correctly, the incident that got her fired occurred after a funeral commission employee complained that she had ordered him, ON STATE GOVERNMENT TIME AND SALARY, to dig around in Bush's campaign finance reports over at the ethics commission office. In other words, she was using state employees to do her political dirty work for the state Democrat party, where she served as Treasurer and was also actively campaigning for Bush's 1998 Democrat opponent.

Clinton is a Democrat idol.
Lets all pass the word around about how the Clinton Administration is responsible for 6,ooo American civilian deaths .
The good part of what they're doing?
America is with Bush. The more they squeel like pigs, the more America learns their true agenda.
Let them squeel. They look like total idiots.
