Don't worry -- you won't have long to wait if Bush and Ashcroft get their way.
In fact, I expect that it will soon be against the law to say anything bad about Bush. Even now, people are being fired for it. Incarceration will come next.
Are conservatives alarmed by this deliberate weakening of our protection FROM the ever-increasing powers of the government? Nope. They're cheering it along.
*Falling on floor in a fit of laughter* Dear Jesus, you're an imbecile.

Awwwww, WHO got fired for saying something bad about Bush? Let's have their names.
By the way, I'd support ANY measure that would incarcerate you.
Any "facts" to support your statement that people have been fired for not supporting Bush ... I DO rcall a few (two, three ?) who have been fired for supporting terrorists though.
Maybe you don't understand the difference.
Ascroft + Bush .... You claim they are frpressing freedom, yet it was Clinton-Clinton_reno (with the IRS) who were using the IRS to intimidate and audit conservative groups ... deliberately. And collecting FBI files on conservatives for blackmail.
While deliberately taking money from overseas (illegally) and putting in Swiss bank accounts. Do you realize that more White House phone calls were made in the first months of the Clinton White House to Swiss (banks) phone numbers than ANY other country. Second and third were Indonesia (Riady money) and China.
Not so quick, Hidy. I do not support or advocate the government getting involved in anyway to suppress free speech. As a matter of fact, I would support Newsday in a second if this was the case.
I prefer the tried and true shunning of a publication that would lump me in with Timothy McViegh.
