You have the cart before the horse.

That demon-goddess apocryphal wench Lilith isn't worshipped by Christians or Jews at all, but by ex-Christian pagan new-agers. And as I mentioned before, Christians only adopted the *date* of Christmas so converted pagans could just use that traditional date to worship Christ instead of their old gods No one knows when Jesus was actually born so one date is as good as any other. And of course Jesus' resurrection is what is celebrated on Easter by real Christians. The pagan fertility rite isn't performed and the Easter bunny isn't worshipped.

Modern liberal Christianity is now being corrupted and merging with the New-Age muck though, so you may have been confused by those "Christians."

True. And the vast majority of modern day Muslims do not worship any "moon god". You can find stories of Lilith in early Hebrew mythology, the precursor to the Torah and hence, the Bible. My point is that many religions have odd beginnings and practices rooted in paganism, not just Islam.

No one knows when Jesus was actually born so one date is as good as any other.

Jesus was conceived on December 25 and born around September 25. John the Baptist was conceived on June 25th and Jesus was conceived six months later as told in Luke.
