Thanks my friends ... it's 1797 though ... which is the year of the founding of Santa Cruz Calif and my Clamper chapter #. I had a great B-Day party. My friend Clark brought a couple of his buddies it. Jimmy Vassar (Sr) former race driver from the 50's and 60's and father of Jimmy Vassar Jr. of Indy fame .... and his other buddy ... Craig Breedlove of Spirit of America (Bonneville Salt flats) fame. They were buddies in Seattle where my friend Clark owned three race tracks. Vassar and I hit it right of and took me out on his new offshore racing boat. He has one that is the same kind as mine but with a couple of soupped up engines ... 1200hp between them.
