Quotes from Chelsea Clinton's piece in Talk magazine
Talk Magazine Dec 2001/Jan 2002 | Chelsea Clinton

Posted on 11/08/2001 5:04:14 PM PST by young1

Chelsea was in NYC on 9-11 and wrote about her experience in the latest issue of "Talk" magazine. These are my fav quotes.

"One thing I recall is the somewhat irrational medley of thoughts running through my head: my parents, the tax cut, and Humpty-Dumpty."

"I worried that with the tax cut we wouldn't have enough money to repair New York and D.C. and to help the the families of the thousands I knew must have died."

"I was expounding on the detriments of Bush's tax cut as we approached Grand Central Terminal and were met with hordes of people running out of the station.."

"Once we stopped running I started praying. I prayed for my country and my city. I stopped berating the tax cut and started praying that the president would rise to lead us. And I thanked God my mother was a senator representing New York and that Rudy Giuliani was our mayor. I have never reacted so viscerally to a leader, particularly not to one I had been criticizing just the day before for some insensitivity or other.

"As soon as my father got back to New York, I was anxious to bring him to Manhattan......I knew he would want to connect with everyone who was confused and suffering..."

"As he always does, my father made me extemely proud."

"My mother, meanwhile, had worked nonstop, and as my father and I walked around Union Square, person after person approached us to tell us how grateful they were to her, how proud they were of here. I am still so unspeakably proud of her too, and as a New Yorker, grateful for her and her colleagues' efforts."

"That Monday I went to Rosh Hashanah services w/family friends, the Iscols.... In early Aug Zach (their son) was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Marine Corps..... most people could not understand his decision. Why waste a Cornell eduacation on the military? "

How soon do you think she'll run for office? I predict it will be within 3 years.

If little Ms. Chelsea really did say this, she is indeed her draft dodging, traitorous father's daughter. I have been willing to cut her some slack for a myriad of reasons but again, if these are her words and her sentiments I have absolutely no qualms about placing her right there in the same crowd her father and mother seems to wallow with. That group of Tom Harkin "Dung Heaps".

Tax Cut my ass.... This woman (girl) has been indoctrinated into the clintonista's. I really doubt she was running down Manhattan thinking about the tax and how we are going to build New York City. My ass... This really irks my ass by the way...

Just my rant.. Thank you...

Do you think she really talks like this?

Clearly, this article was written by Hitlery's PR staff, however, Chelsh## absolutely talks like this and only like this. It's pure Clintonspeak, the only language she knows.

This stupid, ugly girl has acted as bagman for her parents' ill-gotten millions...I've always been sure that's why they took her overseas so often. Another load of luggage to fill with cash from the offshore accounts, safe from Customs Service scrutiny.

It's all about money, money, money with the Clintons and always will be. With them, it could never be "Let's Roll," but more like some vampire slogan, "Let's Drain."

I agree with you. This can't be real. It is a joke, right??? NOBODY can be that moronic to buy into this idiotic, senseless, childish, asinine dribble...I knew liberals were shallow, ignorant, simple-minded but to print this preposterous crap is even beneath them.

Wonder how many of her SS praetorian guard "wasted" their education on the military.

Cornell has a Naval ROTC unit, may be the young man is doing the honorable thing and honoring the commitment he made when the US Navy agreed to pay for his education.

Did she really graduate from Stanford University?

Did she really write this like ah, she was still in the eighth grade or something?

Did she learn how to propagandize, spin and use her 9-11-01 thoughts to further advertise for her parents political ambitions and maintenance of power at the knees of the master?

Oh well, glad Free Speech is still alive and flowing boutifully but please Stanford educators can't you do better than this?

I know all that.........it's just the kind of thing that, even if you THOUGHT it, why would you say it outloud. Especially if your father had been CIC?

The Clintons have obviously been grooming her for public office for the past 8+ years. However, there are things in this article that are very telling, and that will probably come back to haunt her, ie. military insult. I LOVE IT!

It might have already been posted, but I'm lookin' at it for the first time and realizing that not only is this a young mind, it is a deluded one.

I used to think some similar thoughts to this when I was in college, then I got a job and had to think. And pay taxes. After a good few years of initiation, I realized the falacies of these quotes from a youngster.

If I was her "old man", she would probably throw a glass of water in my face and then tell me "You've gotten better since I did that."

I met her last year - she still looks great and I'm guessing she's about 50 - doesn't look it.

Picture this...

There is an angel on my right shoulder and a devil on my left.

The devil says, "ping Chris M", the angel says, "no, don't ping Chris M", then the devil says...
