Personally, I don't think he's "pithy" enough.
Well someone has to do it!
This is why Bill O' is so effective: he could care less if he's liked, especially by his peers in the media and, especially, politicians. And it's also why he's so powerful: These people he doesn't care!
Hehe.
The charities attack is great but it bailed him out because after September 11, the confrontation thing was a losing tactic. O'Reilly was not able to adjust and was coming off as a beligerent bully. His crusade against fraudalent charities has been a great service but when it is over he will go back to being a beligerent bully again.
Self-appointed? Is this supposed to be like "so-called?" O'Reilly isn't self-appointed, he's just the first to break through at what he's doing.

Perhaps we should let Mr. O'Reilly know he's on to far more truth than the American public's willing to take (or the press is willing to allow) in this instance.

Blood money: what Red Cross donors didnt know (1976)
Red Cross Going to Refuse Money Raised by Hillary Protest Banner Auction
This is funny coming from ABC, home of Peter Jennings. Jennings would much more closely fit the description of "arrogant, obnoxious, and know-nothing blowhard."
BILL O'REILLY at 9:36am ET
You can believe whatever you want to believe. But I deal in facts. The facts are that the vast amount of money being raised is not even close to going to the grieving people.

"Very effective, I'm sure Mr. Vole but this is a court; and in a court we deal with the facts, and the fact is..."
Agatha Christie, Witness for the Prosecution

I remember that line from performing the play. The first thing that popped in my mind was.."Hm...I know that".
What we really like is that he understands that we won't all, always agree with him. (We don't *always* agree with every position he takes in this house. But we certainly DO agree with him about MOST of his views!!)
Its so refreshing to have someone like him in the Media today. Anyone who has been watching him over the last couple years, **knows** he has started the **majority** of major investigations by the news media since the inception of his television show. Bill mentions it,... starts to look into it,..and three weeks later its on CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN!!
Bill Rocks!!!!!!
(Wish I could get a free autographed book from him :o)
His pathetic treatment of our President after the evening national news conference a couple of weeks ago put me in the position of deciding that along with the dweebs at CNN, CBS, NBC, and ABC, Bill O'Reilly is no longer welcomed in this household.
In his heart of hearts, Bill O'Reilly is an old time New York City liberal. His favorite politician of all time is Bobby Kennedy and his love for BIG government programs shows his true colors. In some respects, O'Reilly is a neo-conservative, like Bill Kristol and Bill Bennett.
If nothing else, Bill O'Reilly is entertaining and usually informative. While he can be a lovable creature, O'Reilly remains a pompous and arrogant arse.
