An Oregon woman on trial for riding her bicycle naked appeared in court wearing just a pair of red cowboy boots.
Terri Sue Webb, appeared naked in Deschutes County Circuit Court.
She was sentenced to a year's probation for contempt. Her disorderly conduct trial was put back to January.
the 26-year-old from Bend, appeared naked in front of Judge Barbara Haslinger.
The judge gave her a chance to dress, then ordered police to arrest her for contempt.
Terri Sue Webb was sentenced to a year of supervised probation and ordered to go for psychiatric tests.
The judge warned her she must wear clothes when she appears in court on January 27 - or face 29 days in jail.
Webb was arrested in July and charged with disorderly conduct for pedaling around Bend in the nude.
Her lawyer Alana Brenneman says there's no case to answer because her client didn't cause any inconvenience, annoyance or alarm.
Her friend Moses Williams says: "She has the right to express herself. Nudity is not disorderly conduct."

Actually, as the son of an Englishman, I know a thing or two about making good tea. Here's how:
You need two pots, a kettle for boiling the water and a teapot in which the tea steeps.
Fill the kettle with two cups of freshly drawn water for each tea drinker. Put it on high heat until it gets to a full rolling boil.
While you wait for the kettle to boil, fill the teapot with hot water and cover it with a tea cosy. (the idea is to get everything as hot as possible and keep it that way as long as possible.)
After the kettle boils, pour the hot water out of the teapot. Put in one heaping spoonful of loose tea per tea drinker, plus "one for the pot". Don't let the water boil too long once it reaches full boil.
It goes without saying that you need decent quality loose black tea, not Lipton tea bags, and not affectations like Earl Grey or Oolong. I like a hearty tea like Twinings English Breakfast or Fortnum and Mason Assam. If you like it a little lighter, try Prince of Wales from Twinings, or Darjeeling from Fortnum & Mason.
Take the teapot to the kettle, not the other way around. Pour it in and cover with the tea cosy. Let it steep for about 4-6 minutes, depending on your taste.
Put one finger of whole milk (not cream) in the bottom of the cup. After the tea is steeped, pour it into each cup through a tea strainer.
Enjoy right away with some high quality cookies!

Naked Privates
Four soldiers face disciplinary action from the Army after being arrested by police for cycling naked through a town.
The members of 4 Regiment Reme Workshops, based at Dalton Barracks, Didcot, Oxfordshire, dared each other to bare all while on a drinking spree. The privates were released without charge after sobering up in the cells.
I'll pass, just for the halibut. I've done better.
At your next bicycle club meeting, Cagey, I suggest you bring up a new theme for your groups ... nudity. Think of the money you'd save on jerseys and bike shorts, never mind laundry/dry cleaning.
And a tip from Martha ...
Finally!!! -- NEVER... NEVER... NEVER... WEAR UNDERWEAR UNDER A BIKE SHORT
Wouldn't be a problem for me, would it now? *wink*
And, Cagey, I'm just curious about your "position" on biking nude....lol
Cagey is in the shower right now. He just got back from a ride. He promised to put a towel on, before he came back to the thread though. *evil smile*
This, in my opinion, is why tea brewed in the cup with tea bags is never any good.

Hey, I'm not the marriage police but just exactly HOW do you know Cagey is in the shower..... (evil grin back at ya!)
Ya' mean you can't see right through your monitor to the person on the other side ... gosh, I thought everyone had this new feature. Why do you think I asked him to wear a towel?
