It looks like some people already have their minds made up. They think it was terrorism and no amount of evidence will ever change their minds. If they end up saying it was engine failure (which it very well could be), and not terrorism, the people in charge of this investigation will be liars and trying to cover this up. You know, the whole conspiracy theories all over again.

Who says they will get to the bottom of it? What about TWA 800? How long? 6 months? A year? Two years? All I say is that there are plenty of ways to sabotage an airplane. You don't need a bomb. Just as the terrorist have demonstrated there are plenty of ways to to bring down a building or to hijack a plane. I think that we are not giving the terrorist enough credit for their creativity up until this point. I think that the Anthrax in the mail bit is pretty imagenative too. I think we should assume the worst.

Do we know what _really_ happened at Waco? Do we know what happened at OKC? Do we know what happened to TWA-800? (Heck, do we know if the US really sent a memo to Saddam prior to the Gulf War saying the US wouldn't care if Iraq invaded Kuwait?)

These days, nobody gets to the bottom of anything...
