Instantaneous is inifinite distance per second. The speed of light doesn't come anywhere near that.

Light takes approximately 10 milliseconds to travel 20 miles. From the point of view of evaluating eyewitness testimony,
that is so approximately instantaneously, or infinite speed if you prefer.

Back to physics 101! Light takes approximately 107 microseconds to travel 20 miles. So it is 100x more instantaneous (or the speed is 100x more infinite) than you thought ...
