Seems to be an awful lot of "catastrophic mechanical failure(s)" going on around here...
Despite the events of September 11, security at our airports is a joke, they are not searching and x-raying checked baggage, only carry on, and no matter how many times the flying public is asked for their "anything goes" ID, a terrorist has apparently succeded in checking a bomb aboard an airbus and killing 260+ people.
