I want everybody to know that I read every single reply and visit every single link posted to these threads. I hate the fact that I can't respond personally to each reply or answer every question but I simply don't have the time to do so. I can't thank you enough for all the support you've given me and my family throughout this ordeal.

Stick a pin in Blacksburg. There's a 6 year-old with a Joe on his prayer list (although he mostly asks "Who is Joe again?"). The boy don't retain much but water.

You'll beat this, Joe. Desire to live is 80% of the battle. The other 50% is living right.

Arming yourself with the latest information is half the battle. Sounds like you are doing a good job of finding out about treatments for the tumor.

I live close to Duke University. That's suppose to be a good center for cancer treatment too. Good luck to you and your family.

I'll be thinking about you over the holidays.

Thanks for the update, Joe. The way you're handling this trial is an inspiration to all of us. You can stick a pin in your map for me here in Orlando, Florida. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Heya Joe...

Sounds like quite the roller-coaster.

I know it isn't easy, but keep your mind positive and keep your thoughts focused on good things. The focused radio-surgery sounds like an interesting option. Perhaps that'll bear some fruit.

There are scads of people praying for you (and I might even sneak one in myself if you don't tell anyone). Strength and goodness to you my friend.

Oh... I almost forgot. I was in Fell's Point on the 27th too.

I might have walked right by you.

Hey--you'll probably need to color code your pins like casino chips--I know you'll have several to put with mine in the Oklahoma City metro area. (Put mine on Del City, if scale permits.)

My Organic Chemistry professor, the kindest man alive, beat a brain tumor last year. He has an awesome scar, truly. He's back lecturing and researching and looks incredibly healthy.
