Anything more? What's the latest overall total? Does Boozman have this wrapped up?
To: conservativesoutherner
It is over, Boozman by 10% with 89% reporting. Boozman is nothing more then a establishment Republican, hey we need these guys too. Hathorn was a particular annoying individual but I think he will be the model candidate for the DNC in finding candidates to run in the South.

I can't tell yet, it might be that the jump from 56% to 68% is the rest of Benton county, and now come the rural areas, if this is the case its going to get closer.
To: J.J. Gittes
Yea, a get in line kind of guy, Benton county is even more the core if the district following redistricting, so he will be there as long as he wants to be.

Within reason, how much of a margin would give Republicans bragging rights- 10 points? Also take into account the lofty margins of victory most in the press were predicting about Hayseed's eventual triumph (I mean Hathorn- i'm sorry-how terribly uncouth of me- I apologize). If Boozman comes out far ahead, what would be a fabulous enough margin to rub in their faces?

KARV Radio (local) predicted Boozman about 30 mins. ago. He basically took the major counties. Guess Hayhorn's little lovefest the last few weeks in Pope didn't win him the county. Must have been the lousy hot dogs he gave out at his ralley last night :-) He spent lots of time here in Pope.

When can we expect a press conference from McAulife and the DNC??

May the good lord be kind enough to all of us this Thanksgiving, that he might spare us that indignity. On the other hand, everytime Terry McCaulife speaks, my grass gets a little greener. I've grown up in the south, so I have seen fertilizer spread far and wide. And, it's been my experience that Terry provides the best load of crap known to man.

Anyone have totals for House (Republicans vs Democrats)?
I know that the Republicans are projected to gain in the House and probably win back the Senate...

Let's see if the story makes the headlines of the New York Times tommorow like the Warner/McGreevey races a couple of weeks ago.
I'm glad to see that a southern Republican defeated a so-called "conservative Democrat" (no such thing). Those Democrats in the south that run on a pro-life, pro-gun platform just do that to get elected. Then they go back to there own ways. (Example Ronnie Musgrove in Mississippi, Mark Warner in Virginia.)
