I just listened to an interview on KFI Radio AM 640 in Los Angeles. Being interviewed was Pat [somebody] of the National Enquirer, who related the following: The cops were called by some irate parents who said that their son had been molested at Paul Ruben's apartment. The cops went there to question Herman. Herman was not present, but some houseguests were (if I heard correctly, one of the guests was actor Jeffry Jones ["Amadeus", "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"], and the houseguests invited the police in. The officers saw what appeared to be drugs and Polaroid photos of 'a disturbing nature', and got a search warrant. They carted off as much as 2000 videotapes, plus photos, erotic art, etc.
In the interview, the National Enquirer person said that the cops had told her that Rubens had been exchanging child porn photos with Jeffry Jones, "like trading cards" in the past. Her story on all this comes out tomorrow (I think she said) in the Enquirer.

I'll be disappointed if Jones really turns out to be involved in this. I've loved his acting since I saw him in Amadeus.

Oops, meant to put "Rubens" in place of "Herman" in the text body. Oh well, reality and fantasy once again intersect.

I always thought Jeffrey Jones was a good actor who played really bad roles. In my mind, he will always be the guy possessed by the Dark Overlord in "Howard The Duck."

Well, it's been no secret that Jones likes boys, but I didn't know he liked BOYS.

The cops were called by some irate parents who said that their son had been molested at Paul Ruben's apartment. I'd like to presume that these parents were unaware that their son was going to Mr. Reuben's apartment. But you never know. How many parents let their kids hang out with Michael Jackson, and then got an epiphany?

Never sit in front of "PEE Wee" in the movies! He doen't clean the back of your head off - the movie people like that stuff. Guess "PEE Wee" and his friends will receive some more sympathetic out-pourings from HWood!

I always thought Jeffrey Jones was a good actor who played really bad roles. Was he Ferris Bueller's best friend (I LOVED that movie), the one with the sportscar?
To: L.N. Smithee
What charactor did Jones play in Ferris B's Day Off...the principal?
To: mystery-ak
Correct.

one of the guests was actor Jeffrey Jones ["Amadeus", "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"] That guy always did give me the creeps. Maybe you can judge a book by its cover.

Rooney Eats It (Graffiti from the last scene in Ferris, when Jones gets aboard the bus).

Agreed -- Jones deserved a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Amadeus.

Jeffrey Jones played Emperor Joseph II in Amadeus and the beleagured principal in Ferris Bueller, two of my favorite 1980s movies. Now those movies are kind of ruined for me, knowing that a child molester starred in them.

You mean Cameron Spry? NO! It can't be true.

(He was great in Ed Wood as well.)

Oh Lord. Ben Stein was in Ferris Bueller's day off. Hey hey hey -- hold on pardner! No guilt by association! It's bad enough Stein still gets guff for writing speeches for Nixon!
