Oh sure. So why don't we just annex all of the civilized and uncivilized world under the banner of an American Empire then?
We don't have to be an empire to be concerned about the Chechens, the likes of which are not really seen elsewhere in the world. And it does and has affected my personal life that there is a booming center of crime, kidnapping, torture and horrific murders in the center of eastern Europe. I think it's something to watch and, yes, even cheer the Russian troops on for. Putin is admirable to have not nuked these people. I sincerely doubt that God meant for this race to propogate. If you think I am going overboard you don't know enough about the Chechens. There is a difference between uncivilized and a completely pyschopathic people committed to sadism as a form of religion.
I think it was on a russian news site but I was just reading last night about a 12 year old chechen girl who strapped expolosives to her body and went to some Russians as a suicide mission. Not your typical muslim thingie here, I was thinking.
Russia and Chechnya have a long history with horrific brutality committed by both sides, many in Chechnya have heard the tales of what happened when the NKVD came to depopulate the entire area.
If we are civilised it is only because we are well fed and well housed.
I have served with the army in at least half of the worlds trouble spots and have seen many times what happens when civilisation breaks down, in Europe as well as the Third world.
I liked the story you have on your home page.
I regard the eastern Front as the most important front of the Second World War, and the most brutal.

I am sure that the Russians have gone into towns in Chechnya and lined people up and shot them, or something similar. This, imho, pales in comparison to kidnapping children as young as 2 or 3 years old, and making videos of cutting off their fingers or other mutilations to send to their parents. To raise money for your war. It also pales in comparison to the lovely chechen specialty of sawing off a head with a bowie knife, often on video and sometimes because a Russian would refuse to convert to Islam.
Two of my children came from what I would call third world situations. One was airlifted at just under two years old weighing about 12 pounds from a civil war. We adopted him and during the process spent much time with the people who were there.
We were told that at least some of the children in this place were alive because of Russian soldiers who gave up their coats to children with no decent clothing to keep warm, and also gave up their food to the children with nothing to eat.
You would have a difficult time convincing me that Russian soldiers in Chechnya are doing anything other than fighting a war and revenging their compatriots killed in brutal manners beyond the scope of our imagination.
I am glad you liked the story. I did forget to mention that the children the Russian soldiers gave food and coats to in my above story were the children of the country they were fighting at the time.
Its not my job to convince you once someone has made up there mind, its best to leave it that way.
Plus I would bet my last dollar what ever evidence I produced would be poo poohed.
As for scope of imagination yours probably not mine I am unlucky enough to have seen brutality not only in images and video form but in real life.
There is no evil or brutality that man is not capable of
Cheers Tony
In the war for survival only the law of the jungle applies. Nature is a Drawinian battle to exist and propagate.
Soldiers are just as capable of being decent types as well as brutal b*****ds.
Cheers Tony
The Guerrilla the Partisan the Terrorist what ever you call him, does not have the resources of the occupying or government security forces, so they are forced into using other methods to hit back.
If America was occupied by the UN, or a foreign power what tactics would be permissible and what tactics would not for the American resistance in the fight back.
