I think they may be against Arafat in the sense that Hamas and Hezbollah are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with him and quite vocal about it. They may be sending Arafat a message that he has not control over them

The scam artist Arafat, who talks peace when speaking in English and quite another when speaking in that guttural nonsense of a language called arabic, is about to be eliminated.

The right does not care in the least what the PLO's leftist apologist's in the UN, USA, and Israel have to say about the issue.

Until these middle eastern untermenschen killed 5,000 innocent Americans in one day, this country pretty much left Israel to fend for itself, and if Israel was unable or unwilling to stop terrorism , that was Israels problem.

Now that this nations very existence is at stake due to a totally unacceptable race of subhumans who do not deserve to exist in the 21st Century in their present form, Arafat and the PLO and all other like minded barbaric ignorant beasts will be dealt with.

Colin Powell has some serious problems, he refused Bush's offer of the Vice Presidency, almost costing Bush the election.

Now he is busy undermining Israels right to defend itself.

>Hey Dubbya- either you're with us, or you're with the State Department!< With ya. This chess game has gone on long enough. Time to wipe the pieces off the board and tell Isreal to kick a*s. What is Saudi Arabia gonna do, stop selling us oil? Is Egypt not gonna accept any more aid? Iran gonna take hostages again? I don't think so.

In the future could you exercise some sensible discretion? With all the pictures out there on a news event to post, do you really have to use the most graphic ones with dismembered body parts? The story and the other pictures are shocking enough, I don't seriously believe that you are getting a single convert by including the ones with the bloody parts before they have been covered in sheets. But if you must, could you at least label it as graphic in the title?

Watch me be labeled an anti-semite for suggesting a bit of restraint, irregardless of my stated position on Israel and the soon-to-be late PA.

Ha ha ha. Come on, almost everyone in the world except you is able to comprehend that post #23 is not the sum total of everything Colin has said on the subject. It appears to be disinformation time, but the disinformation's not emanating from Diogenesis.

You know the drill ... if you have proof then post it. If not, it'a all hot air. Seems to me Powell was sticking it to Arafat. Let me guess what the real problem is? You don't like Powell and probably never have.

In what way? I think a lot of people here on FR need to remember is that Powell is Secretary of STATE not Secretary of DEFENSE. He's doing what he's supposed to do.

"...Jewish history will determined by Meretz and in view of the imbecilic stupidity of Israel's leaders we are still far from the point where Israel will finally do what needs to be done as the Israeli Left is still far from convinced its time to finally end Oslo. Only when that happens will Arafat be history."

What was said at Oslo? Go back to 67?

That's bunk. Arafat is right in there with the "radicals". He isn't the least bit bothered by the terror approach.

He's doing what he's supposed to do.

Thats what the left said about Madeline (I just found out I was Jewish) Albright.

You DON'T MAKE RIDICULOUS STATEMENT'S LIKE "IT WAS AN ATTACK ON ARAFAT" and expect to be taken seriously.

Were the attacks on September 11 on Arafat too?.

What the HECK is he talking about????????

He's talking about the fact that if Arafat can't make this stop, his regime is a meaningless fiction. One we're not going to waste our time on any more.

Hamas just dissed him bigtime, and thus put him in a corner. This is truly his last chance to show that he is both willing and able to make peace. If not, he's history.

You're too used to the bluster and bombast of Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden. This is what a dire threat sounds like when delivered by a skilled diplomat.

Read # 60. You'll blush ... and you should when you read where the quote REALLY came from. And it wasn't from Powell.

The photo, and the statement, were made by him.

He is backtracking now; and that you cite an irrelevant article is ... irrelevant.

The ONLY victims were Israelis. Those are facts.
