The military is more than willing and able to "attack" the problem
28. As usual, it's politicians and international diplomacy that are the thing that F*s up successful reconciliation of a war.

Second bomb found near the monster! The dead monster.
I wish Israel would stop their practice of returning the bodies. Unless they're in pieces, of course.

If the left gets any more control of this country, we'll be in the same boat. Yup. South Africa let the Al Sharpton's and Jesse Hijackson's take over. We're leaning that way.

I agree. If I was the enemy and saw over and over again the weak responses of the Israeli's (blowing up empty buildings) I'd never stop my attacks. What for? That is what we're seeing here. A weak willed Israel embolding tyrants and terrorists.

Agreed. But if not now when children's blood runs down the high street and the 'war on terrorism' is in vogue...then when?
ArabRat can buy a new chopper and Force 17 will move into new digs, but I don't think those kids are coming back.
The question is rhetorical. I think the left has damaged Israel to the point of no return. Interesting. Not millions of hostile enemy neighbors, but its own citizens.

Precisely. Weakness is an invitation to aggression.

You nailed it right on the head. They've been completely demoralized by the left. That's what the left has been attempting to do to us here in the US. A huge psyop war.

imagine if Barbara Lee not only had her own anti-war party but managed to win a majority of the congress. That's what Israel has to deal with. Peres is the Israeli Barbara Lee

The bomber is still alive, having sustained serious wounds, according to reports. Good. Question him vigorously and then force-feed him ground bacon until he croaks.

He was shot by 2 cops who thought he was about to detonate another bomb. The cops think that the first explosion was meant to be a minor one with a second much bigger to be detonated when rescue personnel arrived .
In last weeks Jerusalem triple bombing a car bomb was left in a nearby street and went off several minutes after the 2 bombers exploded theirs. It was left in a spot where they thought rescue personel would be passing on their way to the scene .

From Haaretz -- "The bomber planned two blasts, according to an Israeli official speaking on condition of anonymity. He said the attacker intended to set off a small explosion, drawing rescue workers to the scene, and then detonate a larger bomb. However, police shot him as he was setting off the first bomb, the official said.
Minutes after the blast, flames leaped from the body of the bomber lying on the street just in front of the bus stop, which was only slightly damaged. Israeli firefighters, crouching behind a traffic barrier in the middle of the road, fearing additional blasts, aimed a fire hose at the burning body.
Borovsky also said that the bomber intended to detonate the device at the junction itself where there were more people, but that he was diverted to a nearby side street because of the large police presence there."

Indeed. CBS News is reporting that Israeli police say the bomber is dead. Wonder if they helped him on his way? The only responsible course of action would be enough medical treatment to interrogate, up to an including torture, the terrorist in order to prevent another act of terrorism.
