Yup. I thought the same thing when I read it. Paul Gigot is not easily impressed, but he is a longtime advocate of low marginal income tax rates and has constantly bashed the GOP when it forgets the simple power of low taxes to spur economic growth. He knows that Armey has been the one true leader in Congress on taxes since the mid-80s.

My favorite Armey moment was when he was slamming Clinton and the Democrats and called him "your President." Oh, how the liberal media snorted over that one!

So, who do y'all like as Majority Leader? I'm sure Tom DeLay will not run for it. We need somebody that can go toe-to-toe with Nancy Pelosi.
