No one has mentioned Bloomberg, NYC's soon-to-be mayor, the erstwhile Democrat who joined the Republican party just so he could by mayor?

Now that I think about it, that's the best one. Bloomberg runs as a Republican just to avoid the Dem primary; he meets with Al Sharpton right after the election; pro gay-rights, anti 2A; anti death penalty; calls himself a liberal outright. There's absolutely NOTHING that qualifies him as a GOPer. Rudy should be ashamed.

Yes. Bloomberg is definitely a qualifying RINO, as are all the Republicans who sold him the office. This might be a good time to summarize his contributions for the 1990-2000 election cycle, as compiled by Deroy Murdock and published in the NYPost last March 14:

To Democrats: $337,000 (91.5% of total)

To Republicans: $28,500 (8.5% of total)

These are not the usual donations that businessmen make to try to ensure access to lawmakers, either. The DNC got $80,000; $59,000 went to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and $100,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. His individual contributions read like a "Ten Most Wanted" list.
