(18:15) Terorists attack bus in Samaria

Terrorists attacked a crowded Dan public bus outside Emmanuel southwest of Nablus one minute before 6:00 p.m., killing six people, according to local residents.

Terrorists attacked the bus and arriving rescue forces with a bomb, anti-tank grenades, and light arms fire.

Three passenger cars also came under fire, according to the regional police commander Shahar Ayalon.

One or more gunmen are continuing open fire on the No. 189 bus as rescue forces treat wounded at the scene, Army Radio reported.

Reports indicate there are up to 30 casualties and a number of Magen David Adom armored ambulances and medical teams have arrived on the scene.

Five of the wounded are reported in critical condition. Some casualties have already been evacuated to hospital and other wounded are receiving treatment in the field.

Sheba Hospital at Tel Hashomer, Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, and Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba are all admitting casualties of the attack.

Two IDF helicopters are on their way to scene to assist in the evacuation of wounded.

An eyewitness told Army Radio he heard a large explosion - possible a shell or bomb - alongside the bus and gunmen subsequently opened fire.
