Israel in Trouble

Israel in Trouble

The Islamic/Socialist movement arrayed against the tiny Jewish State is entirely comparable to the National/Socialist movement of Hitler’s Germany and potentially as deadly.
Like their Nazi predecessors, today’s Islamist/Socialists seek to wipe Jews off the map.
Every passing day bears witness to an intensifying progrom against the innocent Jewish men, women and children of Israel.
The suicide bombers, like ensatzgruppen, are sent in specifically to kill Jewish civilians.
The organizations coordinating this Holocaust, unlike the Nazi’s who tried to keep their Holocaust secret, are boldly claiming credit for the murders.

The organizations taking credit, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Tanzim “Aqsa Brigades,” the PFLP, and others, are defended by international leftists who characterize them as engaging in a legitimate response to the “oppression of occupation.”
What is omitted from this propaganda is the fact that none of these organizations, by their own admission, recognize Israel’s right to exist.
To them, the “occupation” is occurring in Jerusalem, Haifa, and Tel Aviv.
Their goal is to “liberate” the “Ummah” or land belonging to the Dar es Islam, from the non-Muslim Zionists.
They seek conquest and the smell of Jewish blood is presently setting them into a murderous frenzy.

The West Bank and Gaza, previously prosperous by Islamic standards and now mired in misery, is in fact no longer occupied by Israel but by Arafat’s Palestinian Authority which controlles most of the major population centers.
In Sept. 2,000, at Camp David, the Palestinian Arabs seemed to be getting virtually everything they wanted or had a right to hope for.
Barak was willing to recognize a sovereign Palestinian Arab State on about 95% of the land won by Israel after it was invaded in June 1967.
He was open to the idea of a shared Jerusalem with some sort of condominium arrangement made with the Palestinians.
The Palestinians showed their true colors, however, when they backed off from the agreement after Israel refused to consider the total return of about 1 million Palestinian Arabs to pre 1967 Israel.
The Palestinians knew that this would have destroyed Israel.

The Islamic/Socialists and their international Socialist bedfellows had placed a lot of stock in the success of the “Zionism is Racism” declaration which was supposed to emanate from the UN Conference on Racism held in Durban, South Africa.
A massive and coordinated campaign of propaganda and terror against Israeli Jews preceded this conference by about one year.
The slogan was supposed to finally de-legitimize Israel in the eyes of the world community, which would, they had hoped, accelerate the process of its dismantlement.
In my opinion, the attack on the World Trade Center, which occurred just three days after the US and Israel stopped the passage of the slogan by walking out of the conference, was an act of deliberate and planned retaliation.

Life in Israel has become intolerable as Jews are getting their heads blown off every time they turn around.
The present situation leaves Israel with no future prospect for peace and things will undoubtedly deteriorate unless Israel does something more than toss a few firecrackers at empty buildings at night.
The Oslo accords are dead, as the Palestinians have violated every aspect of them both in letter and spirit.
Harboring terrorists and allowing them to cross into a neighboring state to engage in violence is a violation of international law and custom.
For this reason, the Palestinian Authority has forfeited its right to govern for the same reason that the Taliban has forfeited theirs in Afghanistan.

Israel, like the US and the western democracies, has been hoodwinked by the Islamic/Socialist drumbeat that they are responsible for the poverty, misery and backwardness of the Islamic world.
Our success and freedom, they theorize, is not as a result of our philosophy of government and Judeo-Christian culture, but because we somehow stole from the Islamic countries.
We are supposed to feel guilty for our success and values and, in the case of Israel, make atonement for this “sin” by surrendering its sovereignty slice by slice.

To get out of trouble, Israel must wake up and secure its future by routing out any organization that conspires to kill its citizens and any government that harbors such a conspiracy.
The terrorist Palestinian Authority should be deposed in the same manner as the Taliban government and for the same reason.
Palestinian Arabs who elect to obey the law should be, after a cooling off period, allowed to elect local government and, eventually, granted autonomy under Israeli auspices.
Israel should stop trying to explain itself and start acting like a sane sovereign nation.

Plastic doesn't understand that many "Christian" churches are really Christian in name only. Some of the mainstream Prots don't even try to hide their abandonment of the Christ much less preach His divinity.

So many of these leftwing social clubs that meet on Sunday mornings (always careful to "get us out by noon so we can get to the game"), may well be as anti-Israeli as he guesses they are.

His mistake is thinking they are Christian, rather than just another bunch of screwed-up anti-Semitic lefties.

Lent took him out in Round 1. TKO.

Well, good for him. I thought that was a real dumb statement too.

Was just wondering what state you lived in? Since we took this land from the Indians I think its time you got off your land headed for the nearest reservation apologized and handed over title and deed. I dont foresee you making this trip. The rule of conquest is precedent here and if you risk loss of land dont cry and whine and if you do put your money where your mouth is. Islamic people are just cowards who kill innocents and who on the battlefield and faced with real weapons cower in fear and cry like little girls.

Yep, can't disagree with that either.

There was peace for thousands of years before the European Jews arrived-- Jews, Moslems, and Christians lived side by side
There was a reason Jews wanted their own country...and it wasn't because everyone lived happily ever after side by side for thousands of years. Jews were persecuted in almost every Arab country after the Arab conquest of the 7th century and had to accept life as second class citizens under dhimmi laws, such as paying special taxes to their Arab conquerers for "protection". Jews were relagated to Arab style Jewish ghettos. They had to wear special identifying clothing. They didn't have equal rights as a Muslim under the law. You get the picture...not a good place for a Jew to live..especially when they could have their own country in Judea-cum-Palestine and live as first class citizens.

(IsraelNationalNews.com) Jordan’s King Abdullah II told a London newspaper that should the conflict between the PLO and Israel escalate, his country will not get involved. In that event, he further stated, Jordan will close the Jordan River bridges to Arabs fleeing Judea and Samaria. The Hashemite King believes that Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is serious about his intent to find an alternative leader to PLO leader Yasser Arafat.

You've gone over the edge. You must be in some kind of dope withdrawal, becuase your posts appear increasingly hallucinogenic. Take a few deep breaths, step away from the computer.

Since even you apparently knew so much about it, and since we now know that the Mossad knew about it-- why not warn the U.S.?

They did warn the US.

"...no allegiance to it's benefactors"?

During the Gulf War Israel had to cow-tow to our plans and do nothing while Iraq bombed their people. Not only have they shared very advanced technology with us, they have shared their highly reguarded intelligence concerning the Islamic states that surround them.

I don't think everything should be judged wholly upon the convenience of the USA. I don't expect these people to fall on their swords for the benefit of the USA. To do so is selfish and cowardly, not qualities I would attribute to the people of The United States of America.

When it comes to the money we provide Israel, it's not wasted. Neither is it owed to them. We are investing in a friend who is caught between warring and murderous states. Make no mistake! They despise Israel and the success Israel has had...and some despise us for those same reasons. It's in our best interest that Israel stands tall and strong. When our coalition of countries fighting terrorism falls apart, as it most certainly will, we'll still have one ally in the region who has extensive experience dealing with murderers.

nonsense, not after THE UNITED STATES has armed the arabs to the teeth!

You gotta be kidding.

Israeli pilots are the best in the region by far. Nothing would stay in the skies that they didn't want. Total air superiority.

Superior infantry, superior armor.

The only possible naval danger would be Iran's older Russian subs.

The wildcard is Saudi.
I'd be willing to bet they have nukes.

It's my understanding that the name Palestine was originally given by the Romans to the Jewish principality of Judea after the Jewish Bar Kokhba revolt (in addition to destroying the temple). It was named after the Philisteans who were *Greek* in origin. So Palestine denotes a region, the same region as it's previous name, Judea or Judah. Palestine was never organized into an independent nation.
I haven't looked yet, and it's interesting if true, but I've heard that Palestine never appears in the Old or New testaments.
