AP report today stated that the reasons the campus police was investigating "because the student approached them frist." Bolder police are assisting.

Athletic Dept. spokesman Dave Plati refused comment.

The Washington Times today reported that, according to campus police Lt. Tim McGraw, the investigation might be slow because many people involved have left town for the holiday break.

Big deal if campus police are approached first. They should contact the real police and have them handle it. I dont know about this campus, but I know on my college campus the police were NOT real police. They were more like rent-a-cops and had NO authority to arrest. They would basically detain someone until the real police arrived.
