A few years back, Senator David Roberti had his political career wrecked by RTKBA activists in California. Instead of misrepresenting the Constitution and engaging in ineffectual whining to unreceptive courts, they used hardcore political means.

You had me worried for a minute. As a CA resident, I would resent your remark, but I'm all too aware of the TX/CA rivalry. (Heck, I even lost five bucks to a stepson who bet the Cowboys(4-10) to beat my Niners(11-3) the other day.)

The State's gun-grabbers are looking over their shoulders to see if Uncle Sham will rap their knuckles, should they go too far. Seems to me they're still getting a green light from whichever party happens to be in power.
