The issue is ILLEGAL immigration! I said nothing about wage and price competition from international commerce. That is why I termed the decline in wages for some Americans that are impacted by illegal immigration as ARTIFICAL. They aren't supposed to be here anyway! You can talk all you want about your future vision of America (it's hardly original as any WSJ reader would know) but as the population of 3rd world immigrants continues to grow in this country and as more of them vote you can forget about returning America to its conservative limited government roots. America will only accelerate its move towards socialism, ever higher taxes, ever greater welfare spending (at the expense of the military), more erosion of freedoms and more morally bankrupt presidencies like Clinton.
