I sure know what I would like to say about the Taliban right about now, after having read that article. What would be a whole lot more interesting is what other Islamic "factions" might have to say about the Taliban. What is the current position of the top leaders of the Sunni, Shiite and any other factions of Islam concerning the Taliban? Do they condemn the Taliban? How passionate is their position? Did they condemn them in the past?

I'm curious here, does anyone have any reliable info concerning this?

What a horrific story. This reminds me of another Taliban torture story posted on FR, about an Afghan soldier who was substituted by the Taliban to take the punishment of a well-to-do man convicted of theft. The judge took a bribe and they took this poor POW (he was captured by the Taliban after fighting with a rival faction) to the Kabul Stadium and cut off his right hand and left leg.

What to say? They destroyed his body and his love of books. Just because they thought he was a Christian.
Sayed Abdullah may not be a Christian but this Christian will remember him in prayer along with all the others, Christians and Muslims and Hindu, that are coming out of this little hell on earth.

What a heartbreaking article. The Taliban are animals. Worse than animals. I expect Allah has quite a surprise waiting for those subhuman jerks who so punished this man for nothing but sheer sadistic pleasure.

Where are all the "humanitarians"!!! Why aren't they rushing to that country to help those people who were tortured like that? Why don't they put their money where their mouths are! That poor man! And they say there's more just like him! It just hurts too much to think about it! May God help them and damn their torturers!

Just saw this today. How many times have I read from some defender of Islam that muslims "respect people of the book", meaning Christians and Jews. I guess as they are beating, burning, and torturing you they really respect you! The god of any people who do such horrible acts to innocent people is Satan, no matter what other names he may go by. No one could do such terrible, vicious, cruel acts and not know that it is wrong. This is why there is a Hell, where else would human scum like these rabid dogs go?

Not only COULD be, but IS! Allah is no better than such previous incarnations of Satan as Moloch, etc. The god of Carthage (Moloch aka Satan) and the god of Mecca (Allah aka Satan) know nothing of the gentility and kindness of these western lands that YHWH and Jesus have touched.

Go visit them and you will see what I mean. No one will give you the time of day; instead of welcoming tourists they will look for a chance to set upon them.
