I know what you were commenting on. The state of incarceration includes free abode, food, education and medical for all it's residents. And I'm sick of paying for it.

The solution is to stop locking up people who have committed no crime greater than screwing with their own health.

But you want to keep them locked up on my dime. I ask again - Why?

Police said that undercover officers bought marijuana at the home on four separate occasions prior to issuing a search warrant.

FOUR TIMES!!!!! Must have been some good stuff if it took them four purchases to figure out she was a dealer.

It may be illegal but should it be? We all know stupid laws are not enforced. In many states it's illegal to get a blow job but the states would never enforce that law.

Let me ask you a question. You live in the NYC area don't you? Before Guiliani(Dinkins era) NYC did what you are now espousing. They didn't arrest anybody. Small, minor crimes were just let go. Junkies were on the streets.

Are you saying that you want to return to the Dinkins era NYC?

If more of them did it we might see a huge upswing in a return to Sunday dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's. Think of the benefits to society.

It was either that or being a greeter at Wal-Mart.

That would be cool if she did both. Wal-Mart's food sales would go up.

Guiliani was targeting homeless people for sleeping, urinating and defecating in the streets. This sort of behavior, I believe, is more often caused by abuse of alcohol than marijuana.

No, when you hop a turnstile, you are stealing. When you shakedown tourists, while pretending you only want to wash their windshields, you are guilty of harassment.

When somebody buys pot, so they can find a reason to enjoy a Pauly Shore movie, I don't feel any overarching need to lock them up for it.

Dinkins enforced the drug laws of the state. All government types, from Dinkins to Guiliani to Clinton to Bush, agree on those laws. It enables them to keep taking and spending my money, while they wipe away more of the constitution that used to restrain them from injecting themselves into my life.

You are truly out of touch with reality if you believe that most pot-smokers are homeless beggars. Where do you come up with this stuff, have you been reading the D.A.R.E. coloring books again?

Personally, I have never been stoned, or drunk enough to drop a load on the sidewalk.

Selling "pot" is still illegal as far as I know. She gambled, she lost.

So is selling pardons, but no compassion for the elderly.

You can't be serious. You are actually saying that the total annihilation of the 2nd Amendment is just hunkey-dorey with you ?

A grandiose statement, but you never answered the question. Would you rather live in Dinkins NYC or Guiliani NYC.

Thank you for sharing that. You are overqualified, I am afraid, for a career in politics.

It seems that most of the WOD types would just as soon use the Constitution in place of Charmin.
