I'm so glad they got this destroyer of society off the streets..............
Does that sound dumb to anyone else besides me? IT'S JUST POT PEOPLE!!!! And we are putting Grandmas in JAIL now?!?!?
Tell me, from her sales, how many people have overdosed? How many people have gone on bad trips and cut the eyes out of their childs heads? It is just POT! The worst thing she has attributed to is obesity.

$1200 is about 4 ounces. Not exactly kingpin material.

Oh, Granny...

Lock her away! We as a society must make a statement about the degradation brought on by Evil Plants! Yeah, tough guy, some hard time will send her a message.

I also like the way they printed her name:
Elnora "Granny" Layfield
Like she's some kind of underworld mastermind. You know, like Sammy "the Granny" Gravano, or "Granny" Luciano.

"Maybe a little jail time will send a stronger message to herI'm thinking, not likely. But what the hell, let's waste some more tax dollars anyway.

The "State of Incarceration" is now the 38th most populous state in the union, with a bullet.
I feel so much safer, now that Elnora "The Granny" Layfield is off the streets.

Hey, even grannies have to make a living. And it pays better than being a door monitor 'hello' person at the local Walmart or working at McDonalds! (and is easier on the feet!). What else is a 72 yr old grannie to do to make a buck?! LOL

Grandma! What big eyes you have!
Pupil dilation is a dead giveaway.
They should give her the death penalty; it's too bad she's lived so many years already.(sarcasm off)

A few years ago, I had just gotten on a Greyhound bus in Sacramento California....we were about to leave, when all of a sudden the bus driver disappeared off the bus, and in his place sat a detective, accompanied by several other detectives, who informed us, someone on the bus was smuggling drugs, and we were all going to be questionned and our luggage searched if necessary....
Now, on this bus were many young people, as well as many older folks and I must admit, that I had thought one of the young people would turn out to be the smugglers....as it turned out in the end, the alleged smuggler was probably the oldest person on the bus...a stooped over, white haired, old man, who was probably about 75 or 80
He was taken off the bus in handcuffs along with his luggage which supposedly contained a huge amount of drugs...
Frankly, I was ashamed of myself, that I had assumed that the smuggler would have been one of the teens or early twenties types which were on the bus...I never, ever, thought that that kindly looking old granddad was a drug smuggler...

Police said that undercover officers bought marijuana at the home on four separate occasions prior to issuing a search warrant. They kept coming back for those delicious brownies.

When are people going to see that MJ is just a plant? I know that it has been modified to produce more THC, but every other plant that we consume has also been modified to produce more of whatever is valued.
The thing that bothers me the most about the Drug War addicts is that they can not see that they are doing exactly what we ridicule liberals for doing all the time; blaming innanimate objects for our own failures.
Obviously, there is a difference between hard drugs, which not only have to be chemically refined or manufactured, but can also be extremely addictive. MJ is just not a threat to society. I don't necessarily think that it should be legal to buy and sell, but you should at least be able to grow, use and store your own.

I was just wondering how you can link the agenda to babies and puppies as well. Seems like you have the grannies covered.

"Officer seized approximately 30 bags of marijuana valued at $1,200 from the house."That's $40/bag.
Either this stuff is crap, or I have to move!

Police said that undercover officers bought marijuana at the home on four separate occasions prior to issuing a search warrant. FOUR TIMES!!!!! Must have been some good stuff if it took them four purchases to figure out she was a dealer.

It was either that or being a greeter at Wal-Mart.

Thank God these brave government people finally took NarcoGranny off the streets. Now if they could just take out a local homegrower or two, we'd have this W.o.D. thing wrapped up in time for Tet.
