"Slingblade" with Billy Bob Thornton. I don't care much for Billy Bob as a person, but I think he is one of the best actors around today. And the dialogue itself in Slingblade wasn't earth-shattering, but there were some scenes around the dinner table where the camera would be stationary for, maybe ten minutes, and there was no music, just talking and arguing and eating. You don't see a whole lot of that kind of filming these days. It must be hard to do. Several of these kinds of scenes in the movie.

Re: "Slingblade"....one of the scariest, riveting movies I have ever seen (about 5 times)! I thought Billy Bob and Dwight Yoakum both were scary as hell!!
