Its never a waste of my time to get a dig at a jerk. I don't really care if he doesn't read it, someone on his staff will, a bunch of people around the web will, and if only one of them changes his mind about Waxman/Rats, then I'm happy.

Great post!!!! Let's keep it alive so we can blast it around the net.

The first time I saw that banner-style bump list, seamole had posted it- I just "lifted" the html and adapted it to others.

Yeah, I thought I saw you make that observation elsewhere. Thats why I credited seamole as well. Great tools here. Thanks to all others as well.

I would have, but his populist approach relative to the oil business lately has p!ssed me off. Probably dumb on my part cause he does go after the corrupt. Feel free to send it to him if you wish, and thanks for a good suggestion.
To: pabianice
What, you don't think he won't pick up the phone and give ol' Bob a call. Just to be on the safe side, I won't hold my breath.
To: BOBTHENAILER
Send it to some papers....Good effort.
To: prometheus
Think I'll do that tomorrow. Thanks.
To: BOBTHENAILER

You left out the money Citigroup paid directly & indirectly to Sen. Loserman, which Rush stated to be over $200,000.

Thanks for the update. At the time I wrote this, I put what facts I could find in the article. I'll keep this one filed for future purposes.

I'm not sure if it was already posted but here's the link to the Enron tip Line on Waxman's web site. Go about 1/2 way down the page and click on the link. You can send tips annomously.
Waxman's website
I decided to submit a tip ... here's what I sent.
Take a look at Senator Joe Lieberman, according to opensecrets.org he received ENRON contributions for his campaign fund. Also Sen Chuck Schumer has received monies from ENRON and has refused to return them.
You may also want to check into Robert Rubin, former Clinton treasury secretary, who went on to work for Citigroup. Seems Citigroup is holding a lot of ENRON debt and Rubin made a call to Peter R Fisher (undersecretary or treasury for Bush) to intervene with credit rating agencies and prevent ENRON from receiving a poor credit rating. Rubin's company had a big stake in this.
Waxman's little dirt gathering site needs a good FREEPING

Great job. Wax the Waxman. Every little smack from now on makes a deep impression. They know the press is waking up.
