Every legislative year, this woman introduces one bill after another that threaten our rights as home schoolers. Contact your representatives, folks. She's "outta control".

We believe some parents home school their children to avoid dealing with truancy, delinquency and learning problems or to conceal evidence of child neglect and abuse.Well, golly gee! Lookit this - THEY BELIEVE! It must then be true if THEY BELIEVE it to be true.
Idiots.

When dealing with any problem following the money is always a good place to start. Since schools receive state money on the "per head" basis of student attendance, home schooling is a threat to their income. It's all about power and money.

Thanks for the information! I will call.
I was looking around online for Kentucky homeschool information but found absolutely nothing. Now I know why. They haven't quite gotten their noses in the tent.

I just recently visited relatives in rural Kentucky for a high school graduation.
In Math these students are two to three years behind the levels needed to handle the college entrance exams.
Equally frightening was the low number of boys (under 10% of the total honors)in the honors group.
If you have a son in this state home-schooling is a necessity!
