While I credit that these events will be seen, and seen literally, it is the nature, substance and timeline with which I have argument . I repeat, the How When and Wherefore is unknowable, though everything is hinted at and alluded to...we are not allowed nor meant to understand--as if we were reading it like yesterday's news! It won't make sense until it happens. After all, humans have a different notion of time than dieties.
I do watch and wait at events coming out of Jerusalem, particularly having to do with the old Temple site.
