The books are fiction. They appeal to a "second-chance" wish of many who want to "keep their salvation options open." The New Testament of the Bible says we must choose to believe in Jesus Christ as Savior, RIGHT NOW, or be lost at the end.

I believe the unsaved who rejected the Gospel before the Tribulation will have a chance during the tribulation...if they are still alive, that is!

Consider this: Christians will rule with Jesus for 1000 years after the tribulation. Who will we rule over? How about those who are not Christian, but did not accept the mark during the tribulation. There has to be someone there.
